Definitions
i) Capitalism - defined as a socio-economic system defined by private ownership of the means of production, and the operation of said means on the basis of profit.

II. Reasoning

i. Capitalism, while having moved our Europe beyond the feudal state and allowing for great social development, has caused the development of labor alienation. The worker is unhappy and unfree; enslaved, in a way, by the capitalist class which has achieved near-total hegemony over our European society.

ii. To address a specific symptoms of the alienation of labor, the worker no longer has control over their own labor. They are held at the whim of the capitalist class, machines of production. They are reduced to simple machines.

iii. Capitalism has resulted in a great inequality of wealth, as to sustain itself. It forcibly subjugates certain individuals, which it considers inferior, to abject poverty, as to force them to sustain the system as a never-ending source of inexpensive labor, which may be received easily, as those in such a state are in effect compelled to work, regardless how odious or punishing said work is. In this sphere, the people have lost autonomy and almost humanness. These individuals live a tortured, horrific existence, even as the resources and production exists as to allow all a livable life.

iv. Capitalism has led to a great centralization of power. No longer does power over one's own affairs belong to oneself, socially, economically, culturally, and politically; the capitalist class, to a great extent, holds hegemony over all of these spheres by means of its wealth. Individuals, even outside of their work, which near-enslaves them when it should uplift under the capitalist system, are thus robbed of much of their self-determination and autonomy. They are told what to think by the capitalist class; through the trappings of the consumerism it has invented as to sustain itself, even as it leads to the total degradation of the world around it, it reduces culture and society to a cheap, disgusting race for more, and centers both around itself. In the political sphere, it offers a false choice. It holds a total grip over all aspects of the political system; regardless of what one "votes" for in the so-called "liberal-democracy" that dominates our poor Europe, one will always vote for continued hegemony, and thus continued enslavement.

v. Capitalism leads to the robbing of the worker. The worker performs much labor for the lazy capitalist, who "repays" them with a pittance while taking away their happiness and their health. This pittance is unequal to the work performed, almost drastically so; it is placed, directly or indirectly, into the wealth of the capitalist. The worker is thus robbed of what rightfully belongs to them, while the capitalist enriches themselves without performing a significant amount of labor.

vi. Capitalism has led to several other injustices, including those of genocide, colonialism, and other such horrors, as to sustain itself as its traditional base grows exhausted, which have claimed the lives of millions and consigned many to total poverty. Many more injustices have occurred as a result of it, which cannot be listed here, but which must be remembered.

III. Action

I. The European Union officially condemns capitalism as an economic system.

Capitalism has become an evil economic system, robbing and subjugating all. It must end, that is final. I was elected as the Councillor to succeed Ms. Anja Mauer in the case of her resignation, recall, death, and so on and so forth; I thus begin what I am sure will be a long and illustrious career. My government does not support these measures, perhaps not at all, even, but I certainly do, and, I am very sure, the whole of the tortured population of this Union.

But in any case, everything said in this act is objectively true. None of it is extreme in the slightest; it is a collection of facts brought together as to make a coherent and obvious argument, and from that a condemnation of the odious ideology that plagues us all and that you - flesh-puppets and bourgeois dictators of this chamber - you wish so eagerly to defend.

No one hears their cries for the bourgeois suffocate them. This is but the manifestation of the will of the people - the will of the people for socialism, for freedom, through, as for the creation of a symbolism of irony, through the capitalist institution of the European Council. Revolution is soon to come, spontaneously; this act is its first herald. However, I do propose the following amendment:

AMENDMENT I

III. Action

I. The European Union officially condemns capitalism as an economic system.

<s>II. It requires all member-states to begin the process of abandoning it, as to prevent further misery and allow for true justice to prevail.</s>

<s>III. Member-states which do not comply may be punished by the European Court of Justice.</s>

As for Councillor Zatoni, this legislation is hardly ideological. Capitalism, by every metric, is objectively torturous. If the banning of child marriage, of similar odiousness, is perfectly fine, then I see nothing wrong with this act.

Still I want to state why I must disagree with such proposition.

We, the people of Czech Slavia, consider all nations to be equal and deserving of the same rights, such as to decide the form of government and economic system of their country for themselves. Such sovereignty must be respected by the European Council, let all member states pick their own path. I must express a pride in my country and its government, for always standing by this right, and when some called for condemnation of the revolution in Icholasen, and some even called for condemnation of the revolution in Inquista, we always said that it is the right of Nicoleizians and Inquistans to set up their own ways.

Moreover, if some system, some way, is better than the other, then the people of country going the worse way must themselves realize this and only they can change the course, it is not the job of the European Council to change their way for them. "Il n'est pas de sauveurs suprêmes
Ni Dieu, ni César, ni Tribun" and certainly not the European Council. This must be known to all socialists, and can be only ignored by ultra-left loudmouths, who try to cover up their ideological emptiness by radical statements.

I agree with what Councillor Tusk have said and I hope that from this point forward, he will stand by his own words. Just recently, in order to appease his own ego, Tusk voted against Repeal the European Commission Sanctioning Powers Act proposed by van Allen with which he agreed with. The European Commission Sanctioning Powers Act is nothing but a assault on countries that pick a different path. And Tusk, recognizing this, voted against the repeal, because it was proposed by a Councillor he disagrees with. And then he had the audacity to talk about principles. Voted against a proposition because he disagreed with the person proposing it, what a principled stance! But, I hope this is in the past and my colleague Tusk now realizes his mistake and will not make it in the future.

In conclusion, I will vote against this act, thank you.

I am a cappitalist myself and own a huge part of one of the biggest supermarkets in Europe. We do not exploit people, we pay people fairly , share part of the profits and treat our suppliers more than fairly. We even will use our market power to force prices up if prices are below profitable levels through enforcing our standards if you want to sell through our stores but according to you we are engaging in slavery. Well I think that will be news to our workers.

There is room for an ethical cappitalism. I agree unfettered cappitalism should not be allowed for the environment, workers and human rights sakes but to ban cappitalism will not benefit the worker, it could actually make the average person poorer as efficiency drops. SME's and cooperatives are great and should be encouraged but we need the billion euro businesses for where scale is needed and if we want the best ideas and people to develop them they need to be able to profit of their ideas. Ultimately cappitalism is not bad in and of itself and markets can be part of a solution to inefficiencies if regulated to protect the vulnerable like we do in the Duchies.I would also like to point out Roscoes is far from unique in being ethical cappitalist , there are ethical cappitalist companies in all European countries.

Regardless of views on cappitalism this also tells nations how to set up their economy , that should be a local decision. Only nations and their people should be able to decide what is right for their nation beyond the protection of rights and the environment. It is not the EU's role to set a policy for economics. For these reasons I will vote against this proposal.

All you do is regurgitate the propaganda that they force down your mouths, happily, like good puppets?

And I must say, what good puppets you are! So well-behaved, so responsive, so loyal to your masters. You have no free will, even, so devoted you are! But that is to be expected, for you are less then human. All of you are but large collections of rotting flesh controlled by the bourgeois, which are part of a vast puppet show performed before the people as to delude them further into their terrible, agonizing, servitude.

I really must commend the puppet which the bourgeois have named "Donald Tusk." It has allowed them to convey all sorts of nonsense! It has vomited up every last bit of filth that the bourgeois have fed to it! But, people of Europe, wage-slavery exists. Look it up; it does.

Councillor Arkalis, first of all I would like to welcome you to the European Council, despite this not being the best way to start. This act doesn't just break the principles and values of the European Union when it comes to respect of all opinions and freedom of speech, but also seems very stupid and unnecesary. Capitalism, not Socialism, should be condemned, and myself as Councillor for Spain will try my best to avoid this happening. Still, I want to remark some of the false statements made on that act: "The worker is unhappy and unfree; enslaved, in a way, by the capitalist class which has achieved near-total hegemony over our European society." How on Earth could anybody here say this when no country in the European Union defends slavery? This is truly what Cllr. Trympov would call "Fake News".

Every single statement made on this bill is false, has no base or both. Still, I want to adress something very important and that's my concern about many Councillors attitudes during these days: We have seen how many are pretending to have a fight between Socialism and Communism without any explanations. And alarming statements against one side have been made by Councillors of both sides, like Councillor Granger's known sentence in the debate about the Sanction Motion on the UNSR or this act itself. That's why I ask both sides to stop making the political stage more tense, with a single purpose: keeping peace in our Union. You can have your own opinions, but this, Cllr. Arkalis, just proves me you want to establish a regime many haven't voted for. And side note of all of this, I think Councillors from the Federation of Istkalen should control theirselves a little bit more, bringing us better bills with a little bit more of sense and not making a show out of every bill they don't like or they propose. Thank you.
